Some highlights of month 12:

• July 10 - Baby Dedication at Denton Bible Church
• July 18 - You climbed all the way up the slide in our backyard - all by yourself!!
• July 22 - Your first two teeth appeared!  The bottom middle teeth!  (at 11 and a half months, just like Rylan)
• July 29 - You took your first steps!!  Daddy got home from an overnight work trip.  You saw him, let go of the piano bench, and took 3 steps right into his arms!  Pretty sure you secured your spot at the top of the will with those steps!  Ok, maybe not, but you definitely melted your Daddy's heart!
• You have a new found love of books!  Your current favorite is the VeggieTales sing-a-long book "God Made You Special"!  You will actually sit in my lap for that one!!  There aren't really any other books that you enjoy from the comfort of my lap, but you will sit on your own with a pile of books forever!!  Really, you are just looking for a pop-up book that you can tear, but it's still pretty adorable to see you turning the pages of book after book!
• When you are eating, you love to hold up a bite of food and share it!  It is often a nice sloppywetalreadybeenchewedslimy piece of food, but I take it anyway because I can't resist your huge grin and adorable giggle!
• I can't believe all of the ways that you have started communicating this month!
• You throw your arms up in excitement and wave them around.  We call those your "excited arms"!  You also use these same "excited arms' to say "all done"!
• You can wave "bye bye"!
• When Meme and Pawpaw were here for your birthday, you and Rylan were playing on the air mattress and you started playing "night night!"  We would say, "Ransom, go night night!"  You would grin, and lean your head to the side until you fell over and laid down on the bed!  It was hilarious and adorable!

You are pretty much the most adorable 1 year old boy I've ever seen!!  We can't believe how quickly this year has flown by!  Ransom Keller, you are our SWEET, ADORABLE, EASYGOING, HAPPY, DETERMINED, CRAWLING/CRUISIN/CLIMBIN, DROOLING little boy!  Your grin brightens our days and your laugh melts our hearts!  We love you more than words and thank God for the joy that you have brought to our family!!
